Here’s an eye-opener: You have two vision plan options to choose from, including one that’s free. No ID card required—simply enroll and then let your vision provider know you’re a VSP member. VSP’s extensive network includes retail chains like Walmart and Sam’s Club.
VSP Basic: Free to you
VSP Basic coverage is free to you and your dependents. The plan covers routine exams once every calendar year and lenses, frames, and contacts once every other calendar year.
VSP Plus: Upgrade for more
By paying a little extra for the VSP Plus plan, you can enjoy more frequent coverage for lenses, frames, and contacts; a lower copay for lenses and frames; and coverage for tints.
Keep an eye out for in-network providers.
