So, who gets to take advantage of all the great Autodesk benefits? Generally, you do if you’re a regular US employee who works at least 20 hours a week. Interns are also eligible for several benefits. Read on for details about eligible family members.
Employee eligibility
You’re eligible for benefits beginning on your first day, but you need to enroll within 31 days of your start date for these benefits:

Life and AD&D insurance
Long-term disability insurance
Dependent eligibility
These dependents qualify for medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and legal insurance through Autodesk:
- Spouse or domestic partner
- Children up to age 26, including:
- Natural children
- Stepchildren
- Children for whom you are required to provide coverage by court order
- Adopted children
- Foster children
- Disabled children over the age limit listed above
- Children of your legally registered domestic partner
- Children of your non-legally recognized domestic partner (only if you claim them as a dependent on your federal tax return)
- Any other children you claim as a dependent on your federal tax return
You may be required to show proof of your dependents’ eligibility.

Intern eligibility
As an intern, you’re eligible for many Autodesk benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, and life and disability insurance. You’ll have time off on designated holidays (excluding the annual week of rest) if you’re regularly scheduled to work 30+ hours per week.
You’re not eligible for:
