Bring on the benefits
You’re officially part of the Autodesk team. Welcome and congratulations! Next step: Sign up for your benefits so you can start enjoying all the great resources available to you. Be sure to consider enrolling in the UHC Choice Plus High Deductible plan. It features a Health Savings Account (HSA) that allows you to pay less in taxes today, while you set aside money for eligible expenses. Plus, you’ll get free money from Autodesk each pay period.
Save it for later
Believe it or not, the next few decades are going to whiz by. That’s why it’s never too early to start setting aside money for your future. Lucky for you, we offer three great vehicles to help: the 401(k) plan, the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), and the Health Savings Account (HSA).
You’re automatically enrolled in the 401(k) at a 6% contribution rate—how convenient is that? What’s even better is that you’ll receive $4,500 in matching money from Autodesk if you put at least $6,000 into your 401(k) in 2024. You can enroll in the ESPP in March or September, and save at least 15% on Autodesk stock. If you’re enrolled in the UHC Choice Plus High Deductible plan, you can use your HSA as a savings tool, since you’re able to set aside money—tax-free—for current health care expenses or future needs.

Starting a family and raising kids can be as challenging as it is rewarding. That’s why we offer a bunch of benefits that can help make things a little easier. If only we could help a little more with those terrible twos . . . and terrifying teens.
Get the party (and family) started
Sometimes one of the greatest challenges to raising a family is starting a family. We’re here to help. If you’re dealing with medically related fertility issues, you can get expert advice from an Included Health doctor or connect with CareCounsel to learn about the infertility-related services covered by your Autodesk medical plan. If you’re growing your family through adoption, co-maternity, or surrogacy, you can get reimbursed for some of your expenses through the Make a Family program.
Bond with baby
A new child doesn’t come into your life every day, so we want to make sure you have plenty of time to spend with your new arrival. That’s where maternity and parental leave come in. And with Parentaly, you have plenty of support in preparing for—and returning from—your parental leave.
Update your benefits
Welcoming a child by birth, adoption, or guardianship is a qualifying life event. What’s it qualify you for? Well, sainthood, for starters. But also for benefit changes. You have 60 days from the date your child comes into your life to add him or her to all your relevant benefits. This is also a great time to review and update your life insurance and 401(k) beneficiaries.
Save on child care
If you’re like many working parents, you’re going to need child care. Which can be costly. One great savings tool is the dependent care flexible spending account (FSA), which lets you set aside pretax dollars for eligible expenses through convenient paycheck deductions.
Get a helping hand
Becoming a parent or adding to your family can be exciting, but it can also be challenging. You don’t have to go it alone. Lean on the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for support. If you have a neurodivergent child, RethinkCare offers holistic support through parenting expert consultations, training courses, and lots of other helpful resources. Plus, RethinkCare can support all parents in a wide range of matters, like dealing with behavioral challenges, establishing bedtime routines, and promoting successful study habits.
Find parental support
They say it takes a village to raise a family. Let Cleo be part of yours! Cleo can help you address a wide range of family needs, from family planning to raising babies, toddlers, and teens. They can even help you care for your own needs as a parent through 1:1 support and curated content.
Protect your pets and your possessions
We know, insurance isn’t especially fun or glamorous. But it sure can bring you some serious peace of mind. And it’s even better when you can take advantage of discounts—like the deals on home, auto, and pet insurance for Autodesk employees.

Sometimes you reach points in your life where you’re sailing pretty smoothly, both personally and professionally. When you’re not just focused on making ends meet, you may have the extra energy and motivation to make serious progress. Here are some ways to help build on that momentum.
Invest in your health
There aren’t many health care benefits that can also double as an investment tool. But such is the magic of the Health Savings Account (HSA). If you’re looking for short-term savings on your medical care and a long-term savings vehicle, consider enrolling in the UHC Choice Plus High Deductible plan, the only plan featuring the HSA. Plus, you’ll get free money from Autodesk each pay period.
Add fuel to your financial vehicles
The closer you get to retirement, the more money you should be setting aside for your future. One easy and relatively painless way to do that is to increase your 401(k) plan contributions. Even bumping it up a percentage or two can make a difference in the long run. And if you haven’t been taking advantage of the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), consider signing up during the next enrollment period in March or September to save at least 15% on Autodesk stock.
Check your financial status
If you’re feeling pretty good about life, you likely have a decent financial game plan in place. But circumstances can always change, so you may want to use our financial wellness benefits to assess your current situation and make any necessary tweaks. No game plan? No problem. There are financial experts just waiting to help you get started.
Keep focusing on wellness
When you have a lot of responsibilities—family, job, house, pets—it can be easy to lose focus on your own well-being. Keep your eye on the ball with the help of the Benefits My Way wellness reimbursement program, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and AbleTo’s digital stress-management tools.
Hit the books (again)
Continuing your education can help expand your career options. Plus, learning is fun, exciting, and keeps you motivated. Through the tuition reimbursement program, with your manager’s approval, you can get reimbursed for expenses related to developing your job skills.
Purchase some peace of mind
You work hard to afford the things that bring you joy in life, whether that's a comfortable home, a reliable vehicle, or a few furry friends. Be sure to protect your possessions and pets by buying home, auto, and pet insurance. And as an Autodesk employee, you get to enjoy discounted rates!
Pay it forward
If life is treating you well right now, you may want to pass along some of your good fortune to others. Autodesk makes it even easier by pitching in with time off to volunteer, a 1:1 match for your donations, and even a special fund for other Autodesk employees in need. Find your path.
