What’s changing for 2022

What you need to know

Every year, we assess our benefits plans and programs to make sure they’re aligning with your and your family’s needs. And this year is no different. From adding a company contribution to the Health Savings Account (HSA) to enhancing our vision plan and the transgender services covered under the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) plans, we’re providing even more ways to promote your physical, emotional, and financial wellness.

More reasons to love the Health Savings Account (HSA)

Get free money from Autodesk in your HSA

If you enrolled in the UnitedHealthcare (UHC) Choice Plus High Deductible plan, you have access to a tax-advantaged HSA to help you save on health care expenses. Starting in 2022, Autodesk will sweeten the deal by contributing free money to your HSA! If you’re enrolled for the entire calendar year, Autodesk will contribute up to $750 if you have individual medical coverage or up to $1,500 if you have family coverage (yourself and at least one dependent). That’s a whole lot of money that could go toward doctor and hospital visits, prescriptions, vision exams, and dental treatments—or toward saving for your future! Note: To receive the employer contribution, you must make an active HSA election for 2022.

Contribute even more in 2022

The IRS sets HSA contribution limits every year. In 2022, you can contribute up to $3,650 for individual coverage and up to $7,300 for family coverage. If you’re 55 or older, you can throw in an additional $1,000. Keep in mind that these limits include the Autodesk contribution.

Still on the fence about the HSA? Along with the new Autodesk contributions, there are plenty of good reasons to consider participating in this savings tool.
